In the workplace, my colleagues and I often utilize a lot of materials created in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
When I started working in 2015, I needed to print out these materials to read and broadcast. However, in recent years, workers only send emails including URLs or attachments.
All in all, electrification made our life convenient though there are several disadvantages. I try to organize my thought.

Pros
Easy to bring
Firstly, I think that electronic data have allowed us to bring a lot of sources even when we need to limit baggage during our trip.
I prefer reading books when I travel somewhere. Reading novels or new books stimulates me a lot during my ride on a train or a plane.
If I bring my iPad, I can read any books that are preserved on my iPad. I need not decide which book I would like to read beforehand. I can read my favorite book at that moment.
Lessen miscommunications
When I go to cafeterias or restaurants, I need to communicate with some clerk to give an order.
I am often stressed during these conversations. Sometimes salespeople mistake what I say. I got different orders. This is because I sometimes find misunderstandings after I finished paying money and leave the clerk. These are not my mistake, but I paid extra money.
On the other hand, when ordered using the touch panel or my smartphone, I convince my order. Even if I took a mistake, I reflect my action and may watch out for the next order.
Sharing information
Sending messages via emails or services, you can share information easily. You need not print documents and make use of post offices.
Also, we don’t consider the time when the letter arrives. What I focus on is to defend the time limit.
Cons
Risk-taking
Electrical devices have some risks of sudden shutdown. Thinking about these risks, in some cases, you have to bring some documents in case of emergency.
For instance, when I went travel outside my country, our team decided to bring paper documents due to the risk of staying in the airport, though I could use apps.
At the restaurant
Some people claim that direct communication between clerks and customers is essential to build some relations.
I don’t like chatting a little because I find it difficult to detect similar interests. Still, I understand many people like doing small talks with salespeople.
Work
When I listen to some presentations or give a presentation, printed materials are necessary such as topics that are complicated to understand and the presenter presented is poor at organized.
Conclusion
Generally, electricity is a good move. However, considering communication, we need to do some cares in some cases.
